SHRM Foundation

Foundation_logo
The SHRM Foundation is a 501c3 public charity and the philanthropic affiliate of the SHRM. The work of the SHRM Foundation is funded by the generous donations received from individuals, companies, and SHRM chapters and state councils.   The Foundation advances the profession and enhances the knowledge and competency of HR professionals through its funding of research, publications and educational programs. The work of the SHRM Foundation is supported by tax deductible contributions made by individuals, companies and organizations.  Each year, the SOCT SHRM Chapter coordinates donation activities in order to raise money for the SHRM Foundation. The SHRM Foundation is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors from the HR profession, including academics, practitioners and representatives from SHRM.
The SHRM Foundation, is a catalyst for thought leadership. They help predict where the workforce is headed because we’ve been studying its evolution for more than 40 years. They offer unmatched workforce knowledge for progressive leaders, with a total focus on studying and reporting the management practices that work. – See more at: http://www.shrm.org/about/foundation/pages/foundationhome.aspx#sthash.Hz3TBCYE.dpuf
