We are currently seeking a Senior Benefits Analyst to join our Benefits team in Stamford, CT. This individual will support the administration of various North American (US, Canada, Puerto Rico) retirement benefit programs including qualified 401(k) and pension plans, non-qualified retirement plans, and employee share plans. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Plan administration for the defined benefit, defined contribution, and non-qualified plans
Process funding required for 401(k) contributions, periodic pension payments, etc.
Provide support on retirement plan audits and filings, such as 5500s
Provide support to the finance, treasury, legal, and plan actuaries on various retirement items
Address plan administrative issues with external plan record keepers to ensure adherence to plan provisions, 401(k) loan terms, and compliance with regulatory requirements
Assist benefit team members with resolving escalated benefit issues that cannot be resolved through plan record keepers to ensure that timely, and equitable resolutions occur
Process invoices for services associated with retirement plans
Special projects as needed (such as file feed integrations, total reward statement data, implementations, conversions, and testing, and project management)
Document retirement plan processes, and identify process improvements
Support development and distribution of required participant communications (e.g., Annual Funding Notice, Summary Annual Report, etc.)
Audit/update participant data in record keeper databases to ensure consistency between the Company's HRIS and record keeper's system
Uses data and vendor reporting to compile retirement plan metrics
Understands and provides support as necessary regarding retirement health benefits
Seeks to improve plan analytics and financial reporting of the plans and with suggested enhancements to current processes.
