A Call for Presenters
Deadline for Submission: Monday June 12th!
On Wednesday and Thursday August 9th and 10th, the Southern Connecticut Chapter of SHRM will host our HR Professional Development Summit & Law Symposium at UCONN’s Stamford Campus. The two-day summit is expected to attract HR practitioners at all levels throughout the Fairfield County area.
Day one will focus on emerging trends and ideas, best practices and relevant approaches in human resource management. Day two of the conference will focus exclusively on workplace law and will be conducted by Jackson Lewis.
You’re invited to share your organization’s experience and expertise by submitting one proposal for a session on day one of the Summit. We are looking for presentations of one hour in length from consultants, academics and other subject matter experts that discuss strategic-level viewpoints and perspectives, as well as practical, immediately transferrable tools and techniques in any of the five knowledge areas listed at the end of this information sheet.
Proposals are due to the Southern Connecticut Chapter by Monday June 12th! Members of the summit planning committee will review all submissions and make the final selections. Presenters will be notified via e-mail no later than June 22nd regarding their selection. We expect all those chosen to:
