    To ALL SO CT SHRM In-Transition Group Participants:

    The Southern CT Chapter of SHRM and Right Management have had an excellent partnership for many years.  About three years ago our chapter and Right Management decided that by combining our respective HR-in-transition groups we could share our resources and provide excellent value to our members. 

    As the economy has struggled, the need for these services has grown. We feel there is once again an opportunity to have two separate offerings for HR Professionals in transition. 

    Right Management will continue to offer regular meetings and speakers as they always have. (Please contact bobbie.rich@right.com or Francie.sinnott@right.com for a 2010 schedule.)

    As for your Southern CT Chapter of SHRM … We are in the midst of planning and improving upon the services we provide to HR Professionals in transition.

    Our goal is to offer a diversified and global approach which provides you with more accessibility to job boards, recruiters and career transition firms in our community.  This approach will increase your exposure and give you access to an expanded group of professional resources. 

    The new service will include various vendors that are subject matter experts. Our objective is to provide you with innovative and dynamic forums in a variety of locations. 

    More information will be posted on our website at www.soctshrm.org as we head into the New Year. We look forward to sharing these changes with you and to continue to support you in your job search.
