Professional Development Workshops
Professional Development Workshops are designed to provide more in-depth learning opportunities for our members. These workshops are held several times a year on current topics of significant relevance to HR professionals. The workshops range from several hours to one day in length. The workshops will also be communicated to our members by email. A modest registration fee maybe charged to defray the cost of the workshop. HR Leader Breakfasts
SOCT SHRM hosts HR Leader Breakfast meetings for all interested HR practitioners at the supervisor, manager, director and above levels. Meetings are designed as interactive discussions, with the opportunity to explore best practices at area companies. Topics have included employee engagement, current talent management challenges and change leadership. Breakfasts are held from 7:30am - 9:00am. Senior Leadership Forum
SOCT SHRM will host semi-annual Senior Leadership Forums for our Executive Human Resource leaders. The Forum is designed for the exchange of knowledge and best practices with respect, integrity and confidentiality. It is facilitated to encourage participation to become more effective as a result of peer-to-peer collaboration. Topics are determined by participants' interests and may included Regaining Trust, Transparency in Leadership in a New Business Environment and Change Leadership.
