The Regional Human Resources Manager will provide strategic leadership for the Northeast. The role covers a variety of HR responsibility, including employee relations, benefits enrollment/questions, LOA, performance management, salary reviews, immigration, and maintaining HR policies. This is a management role and will be responsible for managing direct reports including but not limited to HR Generalist and HR Assistant.
Handle employee relations investigations, counseling, outplacement counseling, and exit interviewing.
Full cycle recruiting; attract qualified candidates using a variety of sources, including social networks.
Ensure that processes are in place to guide employees through the complete new hire cycle including pre-screening, interview scheduling, travel arrangements, candidate correspondence, employment offers, background checks and onboarding of new hires.
Oversee benefits administration to include onboarding/termination, open enrollment, claims resolution, change reporting, and communicating benefit information to employees
Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in the efficiency of department and services performed.
Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements, including safety regulations
Manage Worker’s Compensation claims to minimize loss.
Education and Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in management-related discipline and 8 years’ HR generalist experience, including 3 or more years’ supervisory experience (or equivalent background and experience).
Multi-site experience in three-shift manufacturing operation preferred.
Prior labor relations/contract negotiation experience preferred.
Experience with regulatory compliance with EEOC, FMLA, ADA, HIPAA, FLSA, and other state or federal laws.
